I'd think it would have to be Cohen. Trump fired him in mid 2018, and all the returns given to NYT didn't include 2018 or 2019. One of the things he was convicted for was tax fraud, so he knew all this stuff really well. And I'm sure if you work for Trump it's pretty much a given you have separate copies of all the documents for either revenge or a get out of jail free card, as needed. -
