Wireless (Anywhere) Thermometer

Options
Hello everyone,

I was trying to find a WiFi thermometer that I can check from anywhere. I am taking a trip soon and a friend is bringing a smoker and wanted something we can have sign into the WiFi and we can check while we are on our boat. Does this product exist? I haven't had much luck finding it on google.

Thanks for any feedback!

I'd probably ask one of the smart folks in the BBQ section on CompuServe.

Seriously tho - there are lots of these sort of thermos. The Thermoworks Signals and the Fireboard are two popular examples.

As long as you have a wifi network for the controller to connect to, you have some options (flameboss, fibreboard, smobot, etc.)

if you’re somewhere without wifi, you could use a mobile hotspot, or a phone as a hotspot.

You just want to monitor the temp, right? No powered blower?

This is a great unit for monitoring grate and food temp. I use it all the time to monitor food temp in my oven. The handheld that comes with it is short range but fine for local area use.

In order to connect the above to wifi and monitor it on your phone from anywhere, you need the Smoke Gateway that connects to the smoke.

I do not have the Gateway. Both run on battery so remote use away from the house should be fine.
