I am really digging this show: Devs

I got a Hulu account just to watch it.  Nick Offerman is going to win awards

Found a chef on YouTube. His name is Jacob Burton. I'm enjoying some of his stuff - he more about how to cook than sharing specific recipes.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Amazon prime is released Season 1 of the French Chef with Julia Child. Old but still good.

Mr in between. It’s Sopranos meets breaking bad, kinda. You’re welcome.
  • Has anyone seen Lonestar, the Stevie Ray Vaughan movie on Amazon Prime? If so, how was it? I’m a big fan, so think I may give it a go.

I'm not into the superhero movies, but The Boys on Amazon was really good.

"I'm Sorry." normally on TruTv but first two seasons are on Netflix.  Hilarious.  Do yourself a favor and don't let the kids watch.   :)
  • A bit of a throwback, but “Peepshow.” Hilarious British show. Worth a try.

Watching "All Creatures Great and Small" again on BritBox. Got 12 months for the price of 10. Have been watching some old and new British shows. Darling Buds of May broadcast in 1991 with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Pam Ferris. Oh, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!

Best Saturday morning cartoon ever was Jonny Quest, and there's some material on EweTube.  There are several links that are titled "Complete '64-'65 seasons" but they're either just the intro/end themes, or poor quality, or in Spanish.
This is the best list I've found so far, if I find something better I'll post it.

I’m starting the new season of Ozark tonight.  I’d recommend Yellowstone, Ozark, Narcos, Sopranos, Rescue Me, the first 2 seasons of Goliath (skip #3), The Ranch, The Shield.  I could go on....

Getting ready to watch John Wick 3 on HBO. If you have not seen any of these you are missing out on awesome action packed movies.

    Bump.

Started watching Devs last night after talking to @nolaegghead about the show.  Glad I did.  I was hooked halfway through the first episode.  Really well done show.

I liked the first season of Goliath, but they lost me in the second.  I haven’t had much motivation to try 3, now I know I’m out on that one.

I did like Yellowstone, the daughter’s just too over the top.

I’m through 3 of Tiger King.  Treating it like a book club with some friends and family, have to finish by Thursday HH.

I’m not huge on series but I’ve been watching seal team (cbs, I think), there are 3 seasons. The Grand Tour on amazon is good if you were into the OG top gear. Maybe I missed it but I’m surprised no one has said the Mandalorian yet on Disney +. Disney also has some Nat Geo stuff on there too.

My favorite InterWebz car mechanic has started reviewing cars now, too.  Here she goes over the 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD, which I haven't seen before and didn't know even existed.  Agree with Sarah, the rear of this car is stunning.

Just realized "Road to Perdition" is available on Netflix and we watched that tonight. Great cast and it holds up very well. It somehow manages to remain underrated for reasons unknown to me.

I'm sure most have less time to devote to this stuff than a few months ago, but just bumping this to see if anybody has watched anything worth recommending more recently. We recently watched "Waco" and "Wild Wild Country" on Netflix. I can confidently recommend both. What else you got?
