I have to track down a customer today that hasn't paid in the last six months.  Good luck trying to get them to pay now...

  • Myron Mixon posted a full rib class and a full brisket class on his Facebook page. I watched them both today. Definitely not my style of cooking BBQ  but I enjoyed watching him teach.

My favorite line- he was talking about cooking with dirty smoke and said that if you cook with the dampers closed it will “taste like cat food and a$$”. Ha ha. Nice

Bride of Teefus and I are blessed to be working from home. We’re not social butterflies so life is fairly normal. We have a freezer full of protein, a half case of Bourbon, and two bales of toilet paper. Plenty of ammo too if the zombies rise up. We’re good for a couple more months.

I forwarded this pic to my former boss. He said that he, his wife, and their two mini weinies were quarantined at his hunting camp.
  • @DoubleEgger: I’m far from a fisherman, but that looks like a beaut. Can/will you eat it? If so, hope to see some pics.

I’m a catch and release fisherman. Drives my walleye friends crazy when I fish up North.

I can understand not eating bass, but walleye? It is one of life's pleasures. This is the closest I've come to throwing up a flag.

Spawn is happening now but in waves. Seeing some spots moving onto the bed now and seeing some post spawn fish. From what I saw yesterday and today, the blueback herring are spawning right now which makes for outstanding striper and spotted bass fishing. The blue heron and osprey let me know when they are spawning and my honey holes were productive.

There’s some topwater going on right now as well. The spots are tougher to catch on topwater here. The lake here is pretty deep so the spots bust the surface for a second and they go back deep. I spent a half hour this morning throwing everything but the kitchen sink at a bunch of topwater spots and got nothing. I bet 75 fish busted the surface around me in that time.

A clear Zora Pup with an ice fly tied on the back should help. I have also caught them on a 1/2 oz Hopkins spoon, wind as fast as you can, bounce it across to top..a double fluke rig as well...can not out run a hungry spot. Might catch a hybrid or 2 as well...Good luck my friend and tight lines!

I have started counting my farts throughout the day. A long multi burst counts as one here. Its OK for me as i am consistent with this statistical summery.

Here is hoping that your farts don't stink, your beer remains cold and everyone stays safe out thar.
I've been fast and loose with mine since I'm working from home...I'm a head 3 to 1.
