I guess that I will never know. Unless I subscribe.
Judging by the plentiful supply roaming my neighborhood it isn’t to a free spa and neuter clinic.

it is irresponsible to let them roam. they really hurt the native bird population for one thing, in some areas to the point of endangering survival. How would you like if dog owners let them roam?

Dogs hurt people. I would need hundreds of cats in my neighborhood to put a dent in the bird population. Hundreds.

most of the dogs around me that roam are happy go lucky friendly dogs, when the problems start it is usually one of the penned up dogs on the loose. my dog roams =) as soon as i let him out of the truck at camp he beelines 6 houses up the street, the neighbor lets out the lab and she beelines back to my house for a beef bone handout

Murder machines. Mine met his fate (assumed coyote) a few years ago. It’s hard out there.

For those who say they shouldn’t be outside: We adopted a semi-feral cat. Tried to keep him inside and he literally did
$10,000 damage to our house and furniture. He was chill if he could come and go but a monster when cooped up. I wouldn't have another cat because of it but there was no way this cat was going to be an inside-only cat.

I would imagine the local bird, lizard, and rodent populations were pleased to see him go. I know my couch was.

Same here. They notch their ear so you can tell which ones have been spayed/neutered.

I’m sorry, but it’s just an insane waste of tax dollars to catch, treat and release strays. If they were endangered animals in the wild, ok. Doing it in the city is just stupid.
Rather see the money go to kids school lunches.
people claim they keep pests away. But it’s the same people putting and leaving food outside to feed their animals that also bring in the pests.
Also neighborhood cats tearing up my grill covers as scratching posts and crapping in the yard. I welcome coyotes...
    Thank you,

It’s not tax dollars (here anyway). It’s some non-profit or something like that.

I have a "have-a-heart" trap that I set.  Every cat I catch gets relocated.

My neighbors across the street moved across town, the cat showed back up about a week later ( which I think is amazing ) ...........somehow the cat I used to chase off has become an adopted son....its a love hate thing

Those spay-nueter programs for feral cats are mostly privately funded and they work and save money in the long term.

House cats just aren't native. They really hurt the local wildlife. Not just birds, but smaller birds can really take a hit

We have 5 cats and since they are well fed they may kill a 3 or 4 birds a year.

People aren't native either, and I see your point, they've f*cked everything up.

Euthanizing helps with the problem in the long run. Releasing the problem back into the neighborhood is a poor use of resources. And this entire situation was created by none other than animal lovers who failed to take care and responsibility for their animals. “Cats are born to run free”...then if you live in the city...choose another pet.
Just my opinion. Not a knock on responsible pet lovers.

True animal lovers wouldn't fail to fix their pets and abandon them to an urban area to reproduce.

For those of you that let your cats wander near my home or out in the country where I hunt, you do not need to wonder where they go to after I see them.  They will have been 'relocated'.

I agree. I only wish more pet owners were really animal lovers.
Also wish more parents really loved having children.

Like you said, I 'relocate' them.  Nothing sinister there, inherently.

There's a section on Pornhub I think.  Not sure about Netflix.
