My 🎄 cooks: Beef fore rib & turkey photos

Hi everyone. It’s been a while but thought I’d just share some photos of a couple of cooks from over the Christmas break.Â
Happy new year everyone!
First time doing a fore rib. 5.2kg. Took about 5 and a half hours at 110c. Rubbed with salt and pepper the night before and no wood added. I wanted it medium rare and man, I’m not a boastful person but I nailed it. It was an expensive hunk of meat - £84. But great quality. Aged 40 days.Â
Fed 9 people with enough leftover for sandwiches
I did consider removing the bone first but it was easy to slice them offer after and the hunk of meat lifted off the bones easily.Â

And then Christmas Day, classic turkey using the mad max method. Must be 4th year using this method now. Always works out great.Â

Happy new year everyone!
