Cooking at a friends tonight. It’s what she had. Only 2nd time it has been used. Close to cooking on a Weber Kettle. Was a beautiful day here. Would have been happy cooking in a bucket.

We cooked a TON of meals on one that was the same shaped grill. It wasnt an "Aussie" but a particular brand that I cant remember. Loved that thing....

Looking good! I have cooked on one of those a few times at my friends cabin. Not a bad little grill. I did find I was having trouble getting it hot and I was wondering if it was because the briq basket doesn't actually have any holes (it is just like an egg carton). Probably just user error- I haven't cooked much at all with briquettes. I went from a gasser to an egg and lump.

I enjoy the food that comes off of the egg, but for whatever reason I find that I can’t beat a hamburger cooked over Kingsford competition briquettes on that type of a grill

Anytime you cook on a grill the food will be awesome. That was a great cook.....love the grill.

I was cooking burgers on this grill. They took like 45 minutes but man they were good.

Great looking cook!!!   This past summer, during our vacation in Gulf Shores AL, my BIL and I split the $49 cost at Walmart for this exact grill.  Blue or green color?  We went blue.  Ah, the options... Anyway, the beach house had no cooking vessel.   Small price to pay over the course of a week.  We used it every day.  Our family drove and they flew.  So, I thought “I’ll keep this thing and use it in tandem w/my XL when needed.   Unfortunately, by the end of the vaca, the salt air and elements had already started to rust out the bottom half.   

Agreed on the end product.  I really liked the challenge of working to pay more attention to the cook on this little gem.  You soon learn that The Egg is very forgiving.
