That’s a good point. I did build it up more in the center so hopefully it will get me through.

It was an odd cook, where mass and time were way unusually off, should have been a 12 hour cook, and ended being almost 20 hours.
Of course there has not been a cook since that spiraled off the grid like that one time, but should it happen, I am good."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

I really don't think you will have to reload. If this happened to me and I ran out I would just wrap it and finish it off in the oven. That being said, if you did add more lump I would probably give it a few minutes to burn clean but assuming you still had a fire burning it will stabilize fairly quickly. I did this recently with my small egg. I cooked a butt and when I removed it I threw in some additional lump to cook some apps while the butt was in FTC. The fire "recovered" within a few minutes and I was ready to cook.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Thanks. It fed five families and everyone went back for seconds, so I’ll take it.

That looks great. In my opinion a good ftc rest makes it even better
