Comments

I went to finally pick up my three bags from the mid march sale. I was happy to see the local ACE FINALLY bought a whole pallet of the stuff. No more Cowboy and Kamado Joe charcoal (I hope)

A recent thread was lamenting about the challenges of getting Rockwood. I casually mentioned that you could order it on line and UPS would deliver it to your door. If you need something easier than that then you need a butt-boy.
FWIW-
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

I’ll take a rock in my lump over fiberglass insulation any day.

Yep I’ve been a user of royal oak for a while but I’m done with it. My last bag was mostly dust and I pulled a huge piece of insulation out of it. I have three bags of rockwood that I ordered before the shipping changed and I bought a bag of kamado joe big block to try since it’s available local and was on sale.

I had a plastic handle from a grill in a bag of Cowboy. I don't buy that junk anymore.

We used to dig that stuff out of cracker jacks when we were kids!South of Columbus, Ohio.

I've tried six or seven varieties. There are enough uncertainties in life, I like knowing Rockwood will light up and get to temp reasonably quick and with clean smoke. Even better is that it's so much easier to find locally than a few years back.Stillwater, MN

At least a rock isn't going to ruin a cook.
I wouldn't sweat a rock in a bag of lump. Creosote chunks and other cook killers as exampled above exist in some brands bags at random. -
this must be an error. I added to cart, but then it said -one bag. I didn’t buy. Thoughts ?
-
Its one bag. Been getting complaints, but its not our listing so we can't fix it.

Just think of it as 4 five pound bags .Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX
