Rotisserie Lamb Banh Mi
Wanasmoke
Posts: 388
Picked up a rotisserie spit at Ace for my gas grill. I’ve had the grill a couple years but never fired up the rear sear burner rotisserie. Leg of lamb from Costco, recipe is Cape Town Lamb from Raichlen. I thought the slices would go well on a sandwich so made a basic Banh Mi. Wow was this good! Flavors of garlic and ginger go so well with the lamb- this will join the arsenal!

I just ate, but I could totally go for one of these. The lamb is cooked to perfection - I’m a big fan of the basting that you get from a rotisserie - and the crumb on that bread looks great too! Nice job!DFW - 1 LGBE & Happy to Adopt More...

Man I love lamb. I could have eaten half that leg if it tasted half as good as it looks. Sweet cook!--------------------------------------------------

That looks simply amazing. Looks like ciabatta bread?
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
Beautiful, love the way you scored the outside for better marinade penetration and char contrast.canuckland

There was a Bahn Mi sammy shop located a couple blocks from my house. Their food was amazing, business got going so well, they opened up a second location, further into town.
If they made this lamb and sold it, they would open 60 more shops.
Very beautiful cook very impressive presentation."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
