And on the fifth day I wanted ribs
but it’s after work, how will I cook ribs? And the good lord said “thou shall cook them turbo as you were taught. Not low and slow, or in a pressure cooker, or in a darned fool pot of water. TURBO I SAY.”
Start grill. membrane off. Rub. Cook turbo. Sauce last few minutes. Motherflippin’ perfect: pulled cleanly off the bone, not mushy.
hell yeah.

There's something to be said about turbo ribs.
I've grown to like them more over the years, and it's hard to beat a start-to-finish time of about 2hrs.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
Start to finish 2 hours? Sign me up.
i usually do low and slow because of the sugar in my rub, but I might have to come up with a new rub...DFW - 1 LGBE & Happy to Adopt More... -

I forgo the mustard. I pull membrane, rub, and cook indirect. My dome temp ran all the way up to 425 but I settled it back down to 325. Overall they were done in about 60 minutes or so. I cook until they pass the toothpick test and bend test.
Rub was a base of dizzy pig raging river with a top coat of salt free dizzy dust. I sauced with some sweet baby rays. Haters gonna hate but it’s tasty
knowing i can have a rack of ribs ready in two hours makes me happy.

I have not gotten my turbo rib game down.
Because of that, I keep doing L&S, and I try to do them whenever I am working from home.
My man @blind99 has inspired me to get my turbo game rolling. Results like his are hard to argue.
Just for the record.....I have no issue with SBRs."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
