Long story short, @caliking was in town but I was a lousy host
Belated thank you Ashish for the over the top care package, especially the Yeti's for my son and his partner. It was so nice to put a face to the name!

Lousy host, my arse!
I almost had to get another suitcase for all the bottles of la bomba Canadian crack and rub
Not pictured are the many packs of homemade jerky that I stuffed in my bag. I was certain the K-9 units at the airport were gonna go nuts.
I was missing Hakka Chinese grub. Gary and his better half did not disappoint. Haven’t had red sauce noodles in a few years.
But it’s not the first time I’ve had the pleasure of dining with @Canugghead ‘s clanhttps://eggheadforum.com/discussion/comment/1620725
It was a short, but wonderful stop to visit with another egghead. Made it to my flight (barely). The dogs didn’t get the jerky either. Gary has been a great egghead buddy over the years, and I’m glad I got to meet the legend in person.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Did you three eat all that or did you have about five other people hanging out off camera? Wow!
