FIL finished this build for me. He is a retired large machine mechanic and welds for fun. It comes with bottle opener, umbrella holder, a dinner bell, and he designed the red brands in the corners after researching old western cattle branding. The L is for our last name, followed by a literal bar and then BQ to round out the BBQ. He also made the concrete tops to go on it. I think it turned out great.

that thing is awesome. you should consider an air gap under your egg to help keep the base from cracking. with it sitting on that stone it is like sitting it on a heat sync and could lead to issues. I am really jealous of that set up.

What size are the legs??I've been looking to work with a friend to make a table from wood. But now I'm thinking it might be just as good to make one from metal. I can weld (both MIG and TIG) so that wouldn't be an issue. If I opt for stainless, I have a friend that's a welder by trade (he takes payment in beer
