Just got home from a great day of eats. Thank you to all the cooks, giving your time to show all those who came the possibilities.  Those apple cups with pink icing were my wives favorite. I loved the tacos and the cuban sammy. But honestly overall the best food yet.

I forgot to mention that the shrimp and grits were spectacular.

KurtzinPA: I put the salameats on the dutch oven over a layer of onions.  2 hours ar 200 deg. then I moved them to the edge of the grill to brown and crisp.  Great reviews!  We did over 900 samples.

Party was the most amazing and selfless apple peeler and dicer for Robins pancetta, boubon (yes boubon) apple crisp. Robin ran a tight ship!

As always, another great Georgia Mtn Eggfest in the books--next year will be 10th one.  A big thanks to John Hall for putting together such a fun event.  It has to be a ton of work to coordinate this thing, so truly a heartfelt thanks!!.  Hopefully others will add photos, I fail to take many photos once the cooking and  serving heats up.  As always, great to see old familiar friends and meet some new ones.  From what I got to taste, the food quality was just amazing across the board.  Thanks for all who sent food our way (Finally got some  Jay famous shrimp burgers after all  these years), and hopefully I sent my grubhub delivery boys to what ever cooks had asked for something in particular--and  apologies if they missed a delivery.
