Mini Max needs a resting place
I've had a mini max for a couple of years but use it rarely favoring my old Large BGE which sits comfortably in a convenient wood table. The mini max is pretty slick so far as I can tell...but I haven't been able to find a decent table for it. Sometimes I use my large BGE simply because it is easier (because of its table), however, I'd use the mini max far more often if I had it sitting appropriately. Darn that mini max is heavy to lift and move around! (yes..I'm getting old).
I don't want to build a table...I've been down that road before. Anyone recently find some brilliant and reasonably durable table for the mini max? That JJGeorge table looks great but I don't want to spend $400. I saw an old thread or two but nothing recent. Help appreciated.

My son found this cabinet and I went to the local granite shop and bought a sink cut out. It works great with plenty of storage and and easy clean up.

Reading the title at first I thought you had pulled a Humpty!

Anyone yet tried that mini max portable nest?? It looks like a great option, however, I'd like some feedback from those that use it as a mostly permanent option (I won't move it around often but I like the option to do so as I please). Also...these have been out for a year?....I can't see many good options for purchase?....what gives?

I have mine on a small wooden table with a slab of granite on top that I bought from the remnant selection at a local granite shop. No issues so far. Been a few years.
Here's the table I bought (may be low for you - I'm in a wheelchair), but I would imagine anything similar would work.

Well I was at a local ACE Hardware yesterday and they had the portable mini max stand/nest. I was not impressed...at least in so far as daily use for a semi permanent location. The stand would be great for camping for tailgating to get the MM up to a comfortable cooking level, however, it seems to flimsy for permanent daily use.
I decided to buy this https://www.webstaurantstore.com/regency-24-x-24-16-gauge-stainless-steel-equipment-stand-with-galvanized-undershelf/600ES2424G.html Of course this is a substantial stand.....seems perfect for my needs.....and is less money than the $150 BGE portable mini max stand. In the events where I need to be portable....I'll just place the MM on a picnic table or similar. I'll let you know about this one once I receive it....but seems like a no brainer for $118.
