New Forum Layout

The forum has a new layout on mobile devices at least. Vanilla can always find a way to make things worse than they were. SMH

Tried to send a test PM to you Michael.
Found the Icon, of an envelope, tapped it to open, it is shielded from use by another field entirely when opened.
Can't access the field for information submittal.
Much less send.

Have to have the finger on the icon for extended time and it will activate. Mine vibrates cuz I have ringer off.

On my phone, doing that opens up a pull down or something behind the main screen that I can’t access.

Yeah, there is a bug.  Hold down the mail link until you get an list, select open in new tab.  Switch to that tab.  It's easy!

I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but the new layout sucks.

I went to the desktop version on my I phone and it is more familiar looking. Hold down the refresh icon in your address bar until request desktop site pops up. (I Phone)

Looks the same on the home desktop iMac.  Not so on the iPhone.  This may seriously limit my time on the forum while sitting on the throne.

I just request desktop version on my iPhone.. it goes to an error screen first then I hit the back button and I’m in desktop mode.

Stupid question, but on the iPhone, how do you go back to the mobile site once you request the desktop site? Totally close out and sign back in?

I get the opening in a new tab.
However I do not know how to send a pm to multiple folks with the new layout.
Just a bug?
