OT - Canadian Eggheads - Petition to bring packer briskets to Costco

The petition says it all. I shared a photo of Wagyu briskets being sold at $4.99 per pound in the U.S. and a friend of mine - amazing bbq’er - started a petition to bring packers to Canadian Costcos. Lol.

Here’s the text:
“Costco, in Canada, does not carry whole packer beef briskets like it does in the USA. American Costco coolers are overflowing with briskets at opening hours everyday, and become emptier at closing. I’m confident that Canadians (especially in Ottawa/Gatineau) will rise to the challenge in the same way.
It is currently difficult to find quality, reasonably-priced brisket in Canada. Costco is already well-known for quality, fresh, competitively priced meats, and since they carry the “BBQer’s dream meat” south of the border, it may be easy for them to do the same in the Great White North.”

I have asked at the Costco in both Surrey and Langley BC, both “meat counters” replied that there is not a market in BC for brisket.
We are fortunate that Bellingham WA has brisket pretty much all the time so I just pick one or two up as needed when I cross the border to fill up the gas tank.
Signed the petition....Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad! -
I buy mine through my work. $7.44 kg.

Not sure the 9 signatures we have is going to convince Costco :(

Hopefully in a month there isn’t a new petition to stop sending all of our briskets to Canada Costcos.

I'm lucky to be near this Costco Business Centre that caters to restaurants but you can shop there with regular Costco membership. In store price is cheaper than delivered price of course, even cheaper if you buy by the case:

They even have clods:

And how about Walkerwood jerk seasoning by the bucket

If you plan to visit, please note their limited 'business' hours. Also note that they don't have in-store bakery nor butcher; no food samples; no rotisserie chicken.
