This is hands down the best halftime show ever. There will never be another one better.

    That Prince vid was great.

Bruno Mars also did a solid job at halftime.

    Great article on Prince's Twinz.

It was not a football half time show...but this the sickest thing I have seen on a sports TV event.

Worst half-time show ever? It was in Tijuana, I knew the show was headed downhill when they closed and chained the doors.

Someone really should have taken her out back to “feed the rabbits” after that performance.

Good call.. That was epic.  I remember the steam rollers smashing the tapes.

There’s a good reason that people hate Nickelback, and that’s because, objectively, Nickelback sucks.

I actually don’t think Imagine Dragons are on quite the same level.  They have managed to make some pretty popular songs while having their own unique sound.  That’s not easy to do.  A lot of it still sounds way overproduced for my taste, much like Nickelback, but ... whatever.  Really what bugs me is that I can’t help but hear the proselytizing in their lyrics.
I still can't get on board with the man capri pants.

The Millenial Nickleback reference is spot on. Although it’s easy to rag on Nickleback, they were immensely popular in the early 00s. They were far more popular than ID ever dreamed of being. I believe Rolling Stone named Nickleback Most Successive Rock Band of the Decade for the 00s.

I don't know because when the hamburglar came out screeching I turned the channel for awhile.
Then somewhere I read the performance was not even at the game but somewhere offsite, (don't know how true this is) so at least the people at the game did not have to sit through it.
The half time show was from Treasure Island, midway across the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. About 50 miles from the Stadium.

Chad Kroeger is worth $60m. There’s a lot of money in crappy music.
