Earthquake (early morning) in Tennesee also felt in Atlanta.......

Coincidence? Now I live quite a distance from this but found it interesting that my dog climbed into the bed with us at the same time of this earthquake. Obviously we (wife and I) did not feel it as we were out of the zone......but have to wonder. For the record, our dogs have their own beds on the floor and don't sleep on our bed.
Aside from my ramblings.....anyone feel it out there?

I live in northeast Georgia along the Ga/SC border. I woke up to a sound of something falling early this morning. When I got up to investigate I couldn’t find anything. While getting ready this morning a noticed a box of ammo in the floor that had fallen off a shelf over head high. I didn’t know if the earthquake until just about an hour ago.

I felt it in Oconee County (next door to Athens). Like the previous quake, it made the Hardy plank siding on my house pop.Watkinsville, Ga XL, Medium

Woke me and the wife up. Drawer handles on my dresser were rattling. I couldn't tell what it was at first but wife guessed it.
@northGAcock I'd bet money your dog felt it.

It woke me up. It went on for about 10 seconds. That’s the first time I’ve experienced an earthquake.

I'm a very light sleeper and I didn't experience anything. I vividly remember an earthquake hitting Alabama at 2am some years back and I was thrown out of my bed. Had been in ATL for 2 weeks at that point, having experienced that and a tornado that dropped down. I was ready to leave. It's "Smokin Gal", not "Smoking Al".

When I was in San Diego @ bout 3am the cat got on the bed and cried/meowed for a bout 30 seconds then a quake hit. Same thing happened 4 days later. These are the only 2 times the cat got on/in the bed.
