Airports have really upped their game recently.  In Austin, tacodeli opened a couple months back. One on my favorites in town.

The salt lick had been in the airport for a long time, last year they got a bigger place.  Food is still trucked in.  Salt lick is okay BBQ.  It's awesome ambiance at the dripping springs location. I like their unique BBQ sauce and love their rub.
Only local restaurants are allowed in the Austin airport with key ingredients prepared and brought in, all staffed by one vendor that manages all of the restaurants in the

No shjt?!  Did they finally unbox that resto area near that stupid coffee machine/robot?

Before Nebraska got their first Chik Fil A, any trip through Atlanta always included a sprint to that gate.  Unfortunately I ALWAYS traveled on sundays.

Aside from that, eating airport food has been one of my least favorite experiences.  Looks like I’ll have to start checking out the places on this list.

Burbank's airport is cool. It is small, your checked luggage is delivered outdoors, and it has a small, walk up grill that serves some of the best, though oddly shaped rectangular burgers, just about any way you would want them.
I do not know if it is still there, but it is a non descript little place, in a corner area, and it seems to be celebrity central for flights.
I do not know what seasoning they use, but if it were available, I would buy it by the truck load.

The Einsteins is over by the Waterloo Record Store (~old gate 14 or so), they took at the gift shop and whatever bagel place it was and put in Taco Deli and Einsteins.

    Reviews of Both-
Taco Deli- I was intrigued as I wanted a "Roadie Beer" and a Taco sounded nice.  However the menu was 5 or 6 tacos that in theory looked very good but I was in the mood for something simpler.  Beer selection was OK.

Einsteins- Standard bagel fare but the service was poor and bizzare traffic flow.
XLBGE, LBGECharbroil Gas Grill, Weber Q200, Old Weber Kettle, Rectec RT-B380, Yeti 65, Yeti Hopper 20, RTIC 20, RTIC 20 Soft Side - Too many drinkware vessels to mention.

Not quite in Austin, TX City Limits
Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting.  The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president.

Love the old California flavor of that airport, the way John Wayne used to be and Santa Barbara still is.  Long Beach too, before it became Jet Blue central.

The approach into Burbank, skirting and weaving through the foothills, isn’t for the weak stomached.

To be fair, there's just about nothing there.  The airport is the size of a postage stamp.

Last time I was there I got a to-go order from the Founder's Prospect Hill restaurant just past the TSA checkpoint - it was passable.

I've only been there in the morning so only had breakfast, but the egg&chorizo torta is fantastic. Egg, chorizo, cheese, peppers (poblano maybe?) and avocado

@The Cen-Tex Smoker see if the Founders Brewing Bar is still there.  I may have put a few down while waiting for my flight last year.
