Nice high lift on that FLT @nolaegghead

You should be able to make a cage up for it to get up to the lights / roof?
I ordered a safety cage, should be here Monday.   Nice to be able to put a work platform where I want it.  I will probably get up and down via ladder because I mostly work alone.

I'm ready to order my 2 post lift, need a forklift to get it off the truck.  Problem solved!

Amazon Prime for the win. $35 light bar with wiring harness. Somewhat limited on mounting options, but this should work just fine

20 years of faithful service doesn’t warrant repeat business? You are a tough cookie  =)

  • I am not buying a Bosch 300 dishwasher, got delivered yesterday and won’t hookup to my setup. Had two discharge type hoses, one had electrical wires in it. Bo and Luke Duke (install guys) took one look at it and said can’t help you. After a month wait I’m back on the market.

3 of 6 metal halide lights out.  Moved a bulb around and diagnosed the need for 2 bulbs and one ballast.  Priced them and waaaayyyy cheaper than I thought it would be.  Getting to them was the main battle.

years ago i put one of those metal halides in the kitchen, cops were knocking on the door =)  surprised you didnt put some led strips up there, those big ballast drink the juice
    fukahwee maine

you can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

That sounds rather puzzling. Isn't the "hose" with the electrical wires just the flexible conduit containing the electrical hookup wires? I installed our Bosch many years ago and it came with bare wire and not a standard type of plug that just inserts to an outlet. Which was fine as my previous dishwasher  was hardwired into a junction box not an outlet.
As far as the water discharge hose mine had a fitting that was able to just connect right up to the garbage disposal.
Looking at the 800 now, top 3rd rack and easier hookup.
Those guys have installed hundreds of Bosch's and had never seen anything like the giddyup on that 300. Going to try Lowes this time for a new adventure.

I might.  I bought 20 double 4' LED lights for the back two rooms.

the metal halides have a prettt good luman to watt ratio, but not as good as LED.  Close.
