    Was it any good?

I personally find a beef rib of unmanageable size, and opt for brisket (unless I have someone to share with).  Their boudin and other odds and ends are also very good.  Their boudin is what I took to BCI a few years ago.
    You took boudin to NOLA.

How did they NOT arrest you??
The best Boudin is in Scott, LA.
3 miles from me! Smoked meat war on I-10. They’re all good too.

    Skip the BBQ in Houston.
Agree for the most part but this place is worth checking out just a few miles south west.

Definitely a meat war. I bought 30lbs (10 from each place) my last time through. Of the three, I didn’t really care for Dons. The Best Stop was my overall favorite. Great boudin and I appreciate it being packaged per two links. The cooked boudin balls with cheese from Billy’s is in my Top 5 things I’ve ever eaten.

Based on a tip from a LA transplant, I picked up various items from The Best Stop a few years back and they were all awesome. Especially the fried boudin balls.

Felt the same way about Dons.
Boudin from Best was also my fav.
Their Cajun pork stuffed chickens were also awesome. Just my opinion
