Game Day Wings

Well, the mighty Boilermakers lost again but my version of Buffalo wings came out great.
Pics are out of order but you get the idea.
Rinsed, patted dry and coated with salt and pepper. Stored in fridge, uncovered overnight.
Raised direct on homemade grid.
400 degrees for 45 minutes.
Result was as crispy as fried chicken.
Drowned in 1/2 stick of melted butter and 2 cups of Franks Red Hot Sauce.

I made two batches on a Saturday as well but forgot to take a before before everyone started eating.
Left was a siracha rub with a local alabama hot sauce
right was DP Swamp venom with a local Alabama honey/ginger bbq sauce
both were phenomenalMemphis raised me, T-Town made me...Aint never been nothing but a winner -
Wings at my Kroger are $1.99/lb, but the “drumies ” are $3.99/lb. Crazy!
