OT - Brisket “Nail”

Like the potato nails used to speed up the cooking process, has anyone used a “nail” for briaket?

sounds like you would need a LOT of nails for that intended purpose.  I don't think it would make any real difference when you are doing L&S over many hours.

I could be off by miles, but I don’t think the end result would be consistent or what you would want with a brisket. A potato is a very consistent in structure. It has no fat or connective tissue. It’s one uniform mass that lends itself to very even cooking.  And by comparison, a potato is very, very small.
A brisket is the exact opposite. It’s very large, it contains a ton of fat and connective tissue, it’s a couple of different un uniform muscles.
With all the above said, I don’t know it to be a fact. It’s just my hunch and intuition. Maybe someone here has tried it and can offer a first hand opinion. It may turn out to be the new go to method. But my hunch is that it’s not feasible for brisket.
