OT: Will Cater for Leftovers

Last I catered a dinner for 20+ for a buddy’s 50th birthday. Too hot to fool with the grill all day and entertain after so we did a lot of apps. 

Did a large charcuterie board


Peach prosciutto basil crostini


Ham and Swiss sliders 

Salmon cucumber bites

And some dishes we didn’t get pics of somehow. Glazed Kielbasa, guacamole, caprese and watermelon salad...

And some potentially killer chorizo and pimento cheese ABTs. But I’ll let @Gravy_ona_Biskit explain their demise once his pride has healed up

Last night was the first time I was able to prep and cook without having to take copious amounts of Advil and icing. 

Seems like I can almost get a full two days out of it before I need some considerable rest. I’ll take it. 

I have to teach a class for a few hours tonight in dress clothes so I will see if that doesn’t put me down again.

Happy about the progress. If catering, get proper transport containers. Don’t try stuffing food under the seat. Not wise.

Thanks y’all. Went back to pick up all the supplies today and these were the only Soldiers left standing. 

I was surprisingly impressed with that Longbranch. I was half expecting the Matthew McConnaughay / Wild Turkey combo with mesquite filtering to be a gimmick but it was pretty solid.
