Stopped by a local butcher and picked up two 16oz center cut pork chops. Forward seared at 500F and finished at 350-375F. S@P and granulated lemon peel on the grilled zucchini. Mashed sweet potatoes to round it out. Grilled peaches for dessert not pictured.

Nice looking meal right there. I like to sauté apples in butter to serve with pork chops. Zucchini and sweet potatoes look like great sides for those chops.

Not many things worse than DHD-as noted above. Major audible required.

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -

Is a forward sear like a regular sear?

Delicious looking cook my brother.
I need to do these soon. We did a cook at our lab Wednesday, and made grilled pork loin sammies. I got stuck behind the grill, made 70 sandwiches, I got zero.
Glad you had a great meal Michael."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
