The other obligatory post to any peach thread:

Halve and pit the peach, grill 4 minutes cut-side-down, to get grill marks.

Pierce peach halves with a fork, thru the pit, not poking thru the skin.

Return to grill, cutside up, level, fill pit with a shot of spiced rum, and sprinkle with brown or turbanado sugar.  Cover, and go another 4 minutes or so.

Serve in a dish with vanilla ice cream, and a sprig of mint.

Utard's season should be starting in a couple weeks!!  :triumph:

I love grilled peaches.  Try this next time...cut in half, grill about a minute cut side down then flip over, and in the empty hole where the seed was, put some dark rum and brown sugar...then serve with ice cream.  A crowd pleaser!

    another killer recipe from peaches..

    3 sliced and peeled peaches

make a thin simple syrup with water and brown sugar (1 1/2 cups water and 3/4  cup brown sugar) and incorporate the peaches with chili powder, salt and pepper (about a tablespoon of the chili and pepper and a teaspoon of the salt)...

sear off some thick cut chops and reduce heat on the egg between 225 and 275...

throw the seared chops in the peach slurry and continue to cook until the chops reach an internal temp of ~155

serve with some yams and asparagus..
