I dont think food poisoning is worth saving a few bucks. As someone said earlier, it is more about the family time then the food.

I once left an upright freezer door open in the summer. I came home from work and there was massive puddle of blood in front of and around the freezer, luckily it was in a porch. Lost around half a hog, quarter of beef, and venison. A family friend had a wild game farm with tigers other animals and he gladly accepted everything that was in the freezer.
Your friend still have that farm?  I have some people...I mean meat that I’d like to donate.

  • I’d temp it, rinse it and give it the ole sniff test.  Then I’d cook that bîtch and eat it.
Got a chuckle out of this cause that’s what I would do. As a guy once said the Indians didn’t have refrigerators and freezers.
