New companion for LBGE

Gettin' jealous of y'all's killer outdoor kitchens.  We have a cool second floor deck up in the trees, so I don't think I'm gonna be doing a lot of that cool rock work or heavy outdoor appliances... BUT, I happened to see this a while back and I'm really stoked about it.  For about $175  on Amazon I've got a stainless steel topped storage unit that I can pull up to my LBGE.  It's a Keter Unity XL . I'm thinking of putting something on below the stainless so I could place my placesetter on it, or whatever.  I wish it had shelves in the storage unit, but I think maybe an old college milk crate could suffice...

And we are getting the deck redone (power washed and restained) next week, so it's high time to do some upgrading!!  Heck, I may even spring for a new door mat!!!

So, how waterproof is it? Thinking if stuffing the open bag of lump in there instead of keeping it in the garage.

I have left an open bag of lump, just rolled closed under a tabletop, exposed in a storm, and it was fine. It was Rockwood, and the bag it was contained in was very sturdy.

I will also note that I use it up though, I don't keep bags around too long, I go through it pretty quick.

I think you would be fine.
