If you have wanted to try Sous Vide, but haven’t yet, Target is blowing out the Anova Bluetooth model for $38.70 in many areas.
This is not the Wi-Fi model, Bluetooth only
Brickseek is your friend to find one near you.

I have no connection, just passing on a good deal

I'd double check and call before making the trip over to Target. I called Target a few days ago that showed they were in stock for $38 but wanted to confirm with an employee from Target. My hunch was correct. No Anova Sous Vide available. Might be worth a call before burning up time

You won't hate it man, I guarantee it.  If the only thing you do with it is heat up leftover pulled pork with it, it'll be a win and save you money.

Just give them a call.  They can probably hold one for you if they legit have it.

I got lucky and found one for $38.70 at my closest Target. Other stores in the state wanted $64. Only an hour round trip...

Lol you guys obviously aren’t “slickdealers”.   In most cases when a product is ridiculously cheap and you call in, you basically end up alerting the employees who will lie and buy the remaining stock themselves.  Just sayin.....

I thought about that earlier today. Funny that after I called about 5 stores the “low stock indicators” switched to out of stock. Every store I called the people said wow this was $149 and it’s now $38. Ya sorry sir I can’t find the last 4 we show in the system. They are Jerks!!!!

Couldn’t find one at the store and was getting frustrated because they said they had 1 left.  So I was getting ready to go when Norah Grace otherwise known as eagle eyes spotted it.  She’s so excited to try steaks in it tonight.

I just went to my local store where brickseek said it was $65. But the price on the Shelf showed clearance at $90. But when I scanned it with my phone it showed$65. I stack two coupons and walked out the door for $51

Thank You, I got the last one at my local store. It wasn’t in the kitchen section. I had to ask customer service, it was on an obscure “clearance” shelf.

Had never heard of Brickseek until yesterday. Thanks to the OP. So i thought i would try to be slick and punch in Blackstone. Had a few 36" units pop up for $139 at Walmart.  I made the trip this morning without calling. Didn't find any. Talked with a worker who verified that they had been on sale and that they were all gone. Typed in the UPC and the store was showing that they had 3. Same as what Brickseek was showing. He said he was sure that they didn't have any. Strike 1. I'll keep looking...

yea brickseek can be hit or miss.    The store I went to for the Anova said "limited stock" on brickseek and I bought the last one on the shelf.   Within an hour of walking out the door, brickseek updated to "out of stock"!

It will definitely change chicken for you.  One piece of advice: view temperature as another ingredient (and time to some extent as well).  By that I mean, if you don’t like the first chicken breast or tenders or wings that you cook SV, don’t give up on the method.  You can likely change the temp and get a fairly different end result.  The point is that you have a lot of control, and once you get it dialed in, the outcome is extremely repeatable.

Most grocery stores carry the 4 oz Mason jars.  I’d check up around where you are before placing an Amazon order.

    @Sea2Ski

Here’s the recipe for the chocolate pots:

    https://eggheadforum.com/discussion/1205207/chocolate-pots-de-creme-recipe-from-butt-blast

Salted caramel pots recipe everyone seems to like is this one:

    http://www.sousweed.com/blog/2015/8/14/salted-caramel-pot-de-creme

I personally dont use the Mary Jane but to each their own.  Forum thread on them is here:

    https://eggheadforum.com/discussion/1202807/ot-sous-vide-salted-caramel-pots-de-creme

Please note that the time you want to use on these is the one in the original recipe and not my forum post.  That was just a mistake I made, thinking they were basically the same as the chocolate pots and so they shouldn’t need more time in the bath to set up, but it seems to make a difference.  Enjoy!
