Best steak ever

I bought a 2 1/2 inch thick Tomahawk ribeye prime from Costco. Seasoned with the Aaron Franklin recommended rub, equal parts Mortons kosher salt and 16 mesh course pepper (not fresh ground, but packaged), plus a little onion powder and garlic powder. Coooked it for 1:15 on a Yoder pellet smoker at 250F and then on my BGE for 4 minutes a side at 600F to get a real char. Results were perfectly medium rare throughout with a char crust. Best steak ever.

Beautiful! I just ate, and that pic made me hungry.

Looks great!
I think my favorite "food porn," though, is a nice shot of medium-rare beef. Sorry you didn't take a shot of it sliced, but maybe it looked so darn good you just had to EAT it and didn't want to pause to snap a photo!
Great stuff! -
Very nice!
