Cable TV bill inflation.  Honestly, has anyone's income jumped that much over one year?  Over two years?  (I now switch providers every two years, unless I can convince the idiot on the phone that its in their best interest to lower my price and keep me; batting about 40% on that, so far)

Ya they used to care. Now not in the least. I’ve been an ATT customer for decades. They jacked my bill up to the point that I told them I was leaving and they actually told me “ok, good luck.” I happened to get a call 20min later from the customer retention dept and miraculously my bill was lowered by 40% guaranteed for like 5 years. So far that’s held true.

Amy has sprayed so much windex she's sitting in the garage with me watching baseball. The fumes got to her.

the exterminator was here for regular maintenance Monday and he was like, give it two weeks.  She may kill me before that if I can't find where they're coming on the house.

I feel your pain. caliqueen has been busy reviving the yard space, so every day I hear “are you sure that flower bed is getting water?”

Check sprinkler heads, reposition/replace, yada yada with the end result being that the flower bed in question and myself are both sopping  wet.

    Been there. It sucked.
Same here. A few times. Worst was when we had a 50lb tuna on the deck and we got him plugging (for those that do not fish, a large top water lure with 2+ sets of large trebles).  Went to unhook him, he flipped and one of the hooks from the other set of trebles sunk into the meaty part of my hand below the thumb by the wrist. He was flopping and my arm was flailing like a flag in a windstorm. I had to lay on top of him and cover his eyes to keep him from flopping as someone else unhooked him. Riding 110 miles back to dock with that treble imbedded in my hand sucked.
