Crawfish boil using an egg?

Anybody ever use an Egg to provide heat source for a crawfish boil?  Would a pot fit, and if so do you have to cook with lid up?

Turkey fryer makes more sense and is inexpensive and good.  Egg does not make much sense here.

I’ve thought about this before and all that liquid in the pot worries me. I’d hate for things to get too hot, boil over and crack any of the internals of the Egg. 

Stick with the turkey fryer. IMO.

Man,  had no idea this post was gonna go in this direction. I’ve gotta remember to stay away from posts involving boiling any kind of liquids inside an egg. That GIF is brutal. Very little love from some of the OGs on here for @Big_Green_Craig.

If i can fry fish no reason you can't boil crawfish.

Please allow me to say that I am not endorseing frying in ANY BIG GREEN EGG. I do it in my Mini Max only as i think i can control any problems. Unless your fire insurance is paid please refrain.

Haha yeah I could see how that could go real bad real quick if you weren’t careful. That fish looks awesome. I guess the underlying theme here for me is trying some new cooks/methods to keep things fresh.
