OT: Your last meal

All of this stuff surrounding the shooting this week (living in south Florida can’t get away from it on the news) has me thinking some morbid thoughts.

one of them is this: what would be your last meal if you could choose?

p.s. finally back active in the forum after a long time away. Glad to be back!

At my age I doubt I would score but I assure you it would not involve cooking in any fashion.  I also doubt it would be granted if in an institution where I was given a choice.  So , given I don't know the clock I think I'll just have some rocket fuel and enjoy the ride.

In reality...a hot fried chicken and fried green tomato BLT sandwich, 5 fingers of Pappy, and a 29 yr old Salma Hayek feeding me a fresh blackberry/peach cobbler. 

Good luck getting that in the same room, Dept of Corrections.

Our penitentiary says that they can have whatever is in the pantry or freezer on site. No beluga caviar flown in from Russia etc.

Fugu fish. No better time to try it - there would be no risk, as even a botched preparation would be of no consequence. 

No pressure on the chef.

It all sounds plausible except for the Pappy.  I'm sure booze is a no-no.
