I think most here have long since given up ordering steak at restaurants.  We know we can cook them better and know exactly how much the raw materials cost.

Nice. Lately I've been placing my little minimax 12" grate directly on the coals on my large, fits right in to the kick ash basket. gets an unbelievable sear.

I totally agree. I think I've eaten steak while dinning out maybe 8 times in thirteen years since I got my first egg.

I have one place near me that makes a great prime rib. When my friend made prime rib on his egg that was as good or better I knew I was going to buy one.

That is a genius idea...all I have is a mini grate but I might give it a shot next time!

Yum!!!!!   Oh and I second that about steak restaurants.  The funny thing is that when you tell most people that you could cook a steak better, they look at you like you're a fool.  Most people cook on gas grills, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.  Anyway - NICE STEAKS
