I see a lot of recipes from him that look good. If I was to buy one of his cook books. Which one should I buy. Thanks

If you've seen my posts, I'm following Serious Barbecue and getting excellent results. My feedback is his recipes are on the elaborate side and do tend to take longer than advertised. The results are worth it!

  • I have serious bbq but have never made anything from it yet. Every time I read how involved he makes it, I just close it and do something else. It all looks great but seems like overkill on every single recipe.

Im sure I’ll do something in there one day.

  • Serious BBQ is the one you want.  And just a note that many of us do not do every step of every recipe.  I’ve probably cooked 20 recipes from it at least and they’re all great.

  • APL's recipes are great... especially for the unemployed - as they're the only ones who have the time.

    I kidd...... mostly.  =)

Currently making: Bowl o' Red. Looks good. Step one took me 40 minutes. Step 2, another 40.
