Dude. You are bad. Did you order your kbq yet? Did I tell you how spectacular my Christmas ham was?
For those playing at home, don't look to @The Cen-Tex Smoker to be your brake man

You guys remind me of the Jeff Foxworthy joke of three guys who go to Bass Pro together. One guy buys a fishing pole, the next guy, not to be outdone, buys a boat. The third guy buys a marina.

@20stonespice has asked that I clarify that the quote above is not verbatim.  She claims it is an embellished quote, and I need to remove the embellishment.

That being said, I know she was thinking it.

NICE!! We have an outdoor tree too! Similar situation. Got sent alone, brought back one so big it wouldn't go in the door. It's in the yard and wife went and got a normal tree for the house!!  All my decorations on the outside tree got knocked off in a bad rain storm last week though.

    Great minds....

...All my decorations on the outside tree got knocked off in a bad rain storm last week though.
We were worried about storms, too, which is why you might note 360 lbs of sand ballasting the base in case of high winds.

To your point, it would have been a stronger move to get out the decorations (or at least one of our several "not favorite" boxes) and load up the tree with them.

    Next year's list:
    • 35 ft tree (to be taller than the one @The Cen-Tex Smoker is putting by his pool if he is, in fact, a man)
    • Another 700 ft of LEDs
    • All the decorations we don't use (and we have enough to cover a 35 foot tree)
    • A cherry picker (bonus points - I can put lights on the second story of the house, too, without the threat of landing on my head)
