sanmarzanos from the garden simmered 4 hours with basil and butter. looks like maybe 20 quarts for canning this weekend.

    i try not to take fish pics this time of year. with the water temps so warm the goal is a really quick release or the salmon belly up. season ended sunday for salmon but ill get some lake trout pics up soon

    I enjoy this time of year too. As long as I don't think too much about what is right around the corner. Maybe I should take up ice fishing... naa. =)

    I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

    Octoberfest, is, THE best.

    Those prevent me from buying variety packs unless we are hosting a gathering.  No pumpkin nutmeg ginger snap peppermint cinnamon lager for me thank you very much!

    I can wander a beer aisle for 20 minutes and still have no clue what I want.

    Yes, I love cool/cold weather egging.  On a calm day, that smell just lingers.
