I have confirmed that my offspring is available to stop by Chez Jonz tomorrow and pick up some leftovers if there are any available.
Taken care of. She'll be chowing down on some brisky nihari soon.
@caliking, were you going to drop some off for her?  I haven't seen it.

OK.   I just received confirmation that my offspring was able to conspire with @20stonespice to stop by while papa bear @20stone was away and not guarding the den.  She secured some of the prized brisket nihari and is most grateful.

As always your cooks make me sad.

Sad I am not your neighbor.

Just had to wipe drool off my screen.  That naan looks crazy good.

Just saying but the weather in NC is very nice this time of year.

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned that I'm a little disappointed with the fact that my daughter did not get the complete nihari package as she is going to have to buy her own naan.   :):o:o

Clearly, there was some miscommunication on our end.  If I had been particularly crafty, I would have mislabeled the tub to make it harder to find.  You would think that between the units, I would have a good spot to bury a deli tub where it wouldn't be found.

I can provide the starter, for a small percentage of the product.

It builds character. You're lucky we didn't make her raise a cow first, to get a brisket out of it.

Come on down to visit any ol' time :)

The naan was not as good as other times, because I used a KA to knead the dough, so won't be doing that again. If you follow the steps in the link posted by 20stone, you'll make a pretty damn good naan. Its very reproducible.

I knew that if she showed up while you were there, the likelihood of ending up in a tug-of-war with you fighting over a pint of leftovers was pretty high.

She let me know that she didn't eat it all in one sitting as she found it only marginally edible.

I may have made that last part up.   :)

Seriously, THANK YOU for feeding my offspring.

No problem. I expect you would have done the same.

My wife says we have to do something nice for you guys who helped cook and/or store the food that my daughter has enjoyed of late.

What she doesn't realize is that now that our daughter knows that you and @20stone are both better cooks than I am, there is no incentive for her to come home to visit us - ever.

After tasting your food, we're hearing stuff out of her mouth like "the senior law students have told us first year students that we'll be too busy studying over Thanksgiving to go home..."

My wife just hasn't put 2 and 2 together...

Oh come on. Its not like I (we) haven't quaffed a fair amount of brews from your cooler.

Besides, her legal services may be needed at future Brisket Camps. She's being groomed for that, but just doesn't know it yet.

And speaking of BC,  I would recommend sending our bail money to your son  now. Should shave a few minutes off my time in the clink.
