Smoked Turkey Breast and fresh vegetables

Mama Bird has been wanting to try a smoked turkey breast on the BGE. Picked up a 6 pounder and seasoned with Olive Oil, salt, pepper, thyme and lemon peel. Added some onion and garlic to go with it. 



Put out it on 275 and used pecan wood. 


Pick some green beans and dug some potatoes from the garden. Nothing tastes better than fresh vegetables.  Cooked the beans with some bacon and garlic.  Seasoned up the potatoes and roasted in the oven. 


Pulled it off at 155, foiled,and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Turned out excellent.


Overall outstanding meal. A definite do over. Great way to end Labor Day weekend.
