Central Illinois. Had about 92% coverage at the peak. Lot of people made the trek from here to Southern Illinois to see 100%, but I was content with 90+. Pretty neat, had glasses. Was a little disappointed that it didn't get darker outside. I expected it to be like dusk, but it was only like a cloudy day in terms of brightness.EggMcMcc

Versailles KY. 95-96%. It was really cool. We've been watching for an hour now and probably have 20 minutes to go. It didn't get as dark as I thought it would but it was dark enough to have the night lights come on. The traffic coming out of Lexington headed SW on the Bluegrass Parkway this morning was unreal. We were about 2 hours from totality.
-
Backyard......100%. It got real dark, really quick. I wasn't like a gradual transition. It went from being kind of dim to what it would look like 15 minutes before civil twilight in about 90 seconds. Then 2 minutes of that. before you saw this pinpoint of light shoot out from the sun. But during the 100% the shiny corona gases around the sun looked pretty cool. I heard the crickets, but that was about it, nothing else funny except the dusk-dawn lights coming on.

Front yard, deck and dock. At about 70% (?) coverage, birds and cicadas began their evening songs.

Home base with 95% coverage. My millennial son made the pilgrimage to the area of totality in western KY. He called and sounded quite impressed.
Here's a link to future eclipse paths.

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

AAAHHHHH!!!!
Big disappointment here. Was in the 90% band but the light didn't change much at all, may have been all the haze. Shot some frames but not expecting anything good. It DID bring out the mosquitoes, I got chewed up pretty bad.___________"They're eating the checks! They're eating the balances!"

Lincoln City OR. 100% totality and 100% amazing! The little dot in upper right is the sun.
-
At work eclipse party here in Salt Lake City, UT. We had 93%, it was pretty cool. Standing in noon day sun in August and not feeling the normal intensity of it was interesting. That was awesome to witness.

Sprint campus in Overland Park, KS. The company threw us a nice party with beer and burgers.
-
At home in North GA. Had about 98% totality and got fairly dark, but not as much as I thought. The roosters across the street started crowing when it got lighter again so that was interesting.
Large - Mini - Blackstone 17", 28", 36"

Front porch. Too many trees in the back of the house. The light change was amazing. From bright daylight to total darkness.
Large BGE
Greenville, SC -
Dillsboro NC had about 2 minutes of totality. Potato shot
-
From our driveway, just about 40 miles south of the path of totality. Very clear skies. Sensational! I think I was most impressed by the drop in the temperature in a matter of minutes. From right at 72 degrees to 64.John in the Willamette Valley of Oregon
