That's a lot of words to read.  And I'm not in the mood to read em all.

I'll wait on someone's synopsis using a lot less words, hopefully.
    1. Put glue on Egg
    2. Put gasket on top of glue
    3. Profit

You have to make sure the rim is clean to get a good tight fit on your Rutland. Once the rim is clean you need to squirt permatex on the rim and bunch your Rutland to the surface of the rim. Use lots of permatex you want it all over your Rutland. Now that you've got your Rutland around the bottom rim you don't even need the top rim the Rutland is thicker it stuffs all holes. Once you are doneits best to wait 24 hours to test it out and I recommend starting with a low and slow something like a butt.

Trouble with that is it is dated and the trouble shooting pertained to using the latex Rutland adhesive which I no longer recommend - in it's place use Permatex Ultra Copper.

Sorry bro. I'm no help. I bought rutlands from RRP for all three of my eggs because the small needed a new gasket. I got the rutlands in and didn't really feel like f'ing with it so I cleaned the small really well and went back with the BGE gasket. No regrets so far.
This. I have two of rons gaskets on a shelf cause I'm a lazy fûck and my temps hold.
Second this, took me about a year to finally install it. The whiz website has some good instructions.

I think Stike or one of the other old guard guys came up with using Permatex Gold as the adhesive..  At least that's what he told me.

Uncle Apple only uses his egg to store his PBR.  Elmers glue would work fine for him.
