Just a simple pizza (Saturday), finally got to the point where I am satisfied with home made dough and sauce. Spicy Italian sausage hidden under the cheese to give it a nice bite.
I start off in the pan (right) and finish on the stone. This way I can cook the top as much as I want then concentrate on the bottom crust.
the raised grid are two BGE haft moon raised grids.

I have the 'The Pizza Bible' book by Tony Gemignani - It explains a lot and offers a lot of recipes. I just make the NY standard one with starter.
Also the pan is on the left, must have had my eyes crossed - used parchment paper also while on the pan.
ThanksDave

Very nice, I like to use parchment, makes it so simple. Do you use a special flour? I'm sold on Silver Star from Costco..Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Well, I married me a wife, she's been trouble all my life,
Run me out in the cold rain and snow -
Once I started cooking on a pan then removing the pan right to the stone once the toppings were about 90% cooked, I haven't messed up a pizza. This one looks fantastic!
