Pulled Beef and BBR

Started this morning with a couple chuckies on the XL:

After a few hours I flipped them over and added a rack of BBQ with Memphis Dust (amazingribs.com) below.

Only had about 5 hours for the ribs to finish before we had to leave, so they spent about an hour foiled. Here the ribs are finishing out of the foil with the pulled beef finishing in the pan with the skimmed juices and some Head Country sauce added.

When it was finished, packed everything up and headed to my sister's place. They had just picked fresh sweet corn today.

Ribs turned out pretty decent:

As did the pulled beef:

Made up a sammie with red onions, jalapenos, and dill pickles on a Martin's potato roll.

After dinner, the kids had fun:

Drove thru PA two weeks ago and if you had said anything about this cook then I could have taken the northern route home and been in PA today. Not some damn motel tonight in Mississippi trying to decide between Windys and Mc D's.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Always a banquet when you roll it out. But that setting is the winner today.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

I have got to ask, how well does that plastic bottle hold up to the heat while smokingDMW said:

@SGH - I find the melting plastic adds to the smoke profile quite nicely. And as it melts, the remaining rub that is left in the bottle drops down to the fire and adds additional elements to the smoke that is quite unique. You should try it my friend.SGH said:
