Just got back from business trip and I knew I had a package waiting from @SaintJohnsEgger. He did a great job packing and selections. All new to me except the Johny Rivers sauce. Cant wait to burn some meat and use pellets in my smoke tube. I really appreciate the time he spent on note about his choices. Thanks also to Cazzy for doing this, it is really nice to try so many new tastes from around the country

Damn. The noobs are coming through and hitting home runs. Better start seeing more food porn from you guys.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

I'm glad it all came through undamaged as I was worried about the glass. Is that my box sitting on the highchair in the full tabletop picture? Looks like its been dropped or smooshed.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.

HUGE thanks go out to @thetrim Steve! I have never seen or heard of any of the items you included in the package. Your generosity is over whelming. I really have felt like a kid @ Christmas the last few days. Ever since I got the tracking number in my hands I could hardly wait. Lucky for me I had it sent to my office, so no waiting until I returned home. My wife asked what I was going to make over the weekend, my response was I basing all cooks this weekend on what ever surprises show up from the exchange. There are so many options I can't wait to start sampling!
A very detailed note was included listing all the items and where they were made.
I'm really floored by the overall generosity of this forum and all the great folks that take the time and make the effort to help others in their quest to become better cooks.
@cazzy and @northGAcock for all effort that goes into make the exchange run smoothly.
Again Steve, thanks so much for the time and effort that went into acquiring and packaging up all of the awesome items! I'll be spending a lot of time with the egg over the next 4-5 days, can't wait.
This was on my desk when I came back from lunch! So fired up!

Woah!!!!! @thetrim went above and beyond with that one. There is some killer stuff in there!

Goya Sofrito huh? That's a staple in my house for when I make Puerto Rican rice.

That was your box. It wasn't in best of condition but your internal wraps saved all contents. Glad I have a Amazin smoke tube for the pellets. I have never used in my egg, does it work very well?

Wow, I didn't know @NPHuskerFL made marinades. I'll have to find out where to get that.
@Tspud1 I've never used it with the egg. I got it for my electric smoker as its wood chip smoking method really sucked. I just use the smoker for a warming rack now or if I need to do lots of protein. To be fair my wife packed it while I watched and mainly just got in her way.
Lots of videos on YouTube and it can be used just about anywhere even in a cardboard box for cold smoking. Best used though as supplemental smoke on other devices even a gasser like @Budgeezer does.Marshall in Beautiful Fruit Cove, FL.

Thanks mystery man from Illinois! - edit - aka @milesvdustin - Everything looks awesome and in tact. I have never even heard of these items so can't wait to dig and start cooking. Really excited about the Italian beef seasoning. Was planning pulled beef for the 4th. Huge win there. Honey and habanero spread will be great on some wings.

Received a great package today!
My package arrived today and was undamaged. I have not heard of or had anything that was sent. A lot of the items are local from Charleston, and look very good. It included a lot of sauces and marinades, two things I don't use a lot of, so this will definitely push me into expanding my cooking!!!! Looking froward to trying the marinades, its something I have only done a couple of times.
I already tried both of the Slathering Sauces on some meatloaf, and they are outstanding!!
Might use Buster's Rub on some ribs this weekend, or pulled pork next weekend.
Unfortunately, I don't know the forum name of the sender. I won't reveal the name of the person, so they will have to come forward and claim credit for this outstanding box of goodies. They included a nice letter with recipes and tips on what to use the sauces and marinades on!!
I am pretty pumped to try these new products! Thanks!!!
Thanks @cazzy and @northGAcock for organizing the exchange!!

When we use that italian beef seasoning we always mix it with a couple beers and the juice from a whole jar if sliced pepperoncini peppers. Meat goes in crock pot with marinade and all the peppers from the jar. Makes the best italian beef!
