@Focker Thanks for throwing that up the other day on Static-X. I played the whole Wisconsin Death Trip album in full on the way home from work last night. I forgot how kick @$$ that album is. Not too many albums out there where you can listen to them straight through. No need to skip tracks. I'm surprised my crappy truck speaks still worked this morning. They were seeing some heavy use on the way home last night. Good stuff!

When my son and 6 yr old nephew hop in the truck, they always request Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe, I really mean always...cracks me up. Static's industrial sound would be right up their alley, haven't even introduced them to it yet.

I'm with ya, WDT is a classic no doubt. It's in my home player right now. Ordered Shadow Zone on amazon yesterday. "The Only" took me back to my Nissan GT-R and Need For Speed Underground days on the X Box.

While I was a Soundgarden fan, I'm a bigger fan of Audioslave. Certainly his work will be missed.

We saw Soundgarden at Beale Street Musicfest 11 days before the Detroit show. Soundgarden melted everyone's faces. I've never heard bass like that at a rock show. Cornell's howl was as huge as ever. Was just dismayed the morning I heard the news. Here's some pics from the Memphis show.

This article makes a lot of sense because he struggled with the in ear mic during the KC show. One of the best shows I have been to but in no way was it a cleanly played show. He missed the begning of "Black Hole Sun". This was my favorite of the grunge band time, I think that Pearl Jam transcends that and became something else. Getting to see Soundgarden was on the bucket list and it's sad that it was the last time!
