Tonight I made Al Pastor burgers. Burger topped with Al Pastor, quesadilla cheese, cilantro, onions. Served on a torta with a little mayo and some avocado salsa. Came out better than expected.

I really should know better than to look at forum photos while I'm trying to choke down my morning Cheerios...

How did you not think that would be spectacular? Looks delicious, and the ingredients are over the top. Beautiful cook.

This. When I read "al Pastor burger" and "exceeded expectations" I can only think that you need to make a bunch of those for a fest in the future so I can have some.

You can cut them into little pieces and put toothpicks in them for most folks. I'll take mine whole.

These would be great as little sliders at the Fest...

Thanks guys. Exceeded expectations is one of the big things that keep me cooking. Everyone can tell you how good your food is but nothing like surprising yourself.

    Understood.

However, my expectations where your cooking is concerned are very high. If this exceeds them I'll have a new all time favorite food.
