Just heard about a Lay's jalapeño chip recall.  If you recently purchased any give Frito-Lay a call at 866 272-9393 for details.  Overly cautious concern about potential salmonella contamination in some of the seasoning blend.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Was reported on this morning's news that some frozen hashbrowns were also being recalled, with bits of golf balls in them.

Ok, that is a new one.

“GOLF BALL MATERIALS” LEAD TO RECALL OF HASH BROWNS

A Harris Teeter brand of frozen hash browns is being recalled after the company that produced them said golf ball materials might be mixed in the bag. McCain Foods USA said potatoes in Harris Teeter’s two-pound bag of Frozen Southern Style Hash Browns may have been harvested inadvertently with “extraneous golf ball materials.”

McCain did not detail how it happened.

The company said the products were distributed after Jan. 19 and sold in stores in North Carolina and Virginia . The bags have a production code B170119. Any bag that doesn’t have that code is safe to eat, according to McCain. Consumers with concerns or questions can call 630-857-4533 .
