Between the prime briskets and now this case! I think my wife has put an unofficial ban on me going with her. Brought home a 3.2lb tomahawk

@Smokin_Trout - You just won the lottery. Nothing in your way of solo runs now that you have been banned from the accompanied trip. Strike while the iron is hot.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. the Costcos in Miami don't have meat cases like this. Everything is cut and packaged to go. Also, no tomahawks. Mostly prime strips and occasional ribeye caps.

I am keeping up hope every time someone posts a fresh meat case like this that it's a nationwide move by Costco. But we still don't have Prime Briskets so who knows.Northern VA - LBGE

I just joined Costco at the Ann Arbor store 1 week ago. That place is awesome! Where do you live, I am in Sumpter township.Belleville, Michigan
Just burnin lump in Sumpter -
you don't have to buy the whole case! OTOH, why not?

Ypsi. Right at 23 & 94. They've had the prime meat for awhile now, but this case is new. What you don't see are the king crab legs, snow crab legs, lobster tails and two different size monster shrimp.MeTed said:I just joined Costco at the Ann Arbor store 1 week ago. Guy could max out a credit card eating buying out of them. -
Im in Shelby Township and our Costco has the same thing. I cant get out the door under $200. Not to mention nice size king crab that you select each piece.

We have one in the woodlands tx, but I only see it on the weekends

Costco is not the problem. THE BGE IS THE PROBLEM. I try to warn everyone, the least expensive thing about owning a BGE is the initial purchase. The money you will spend after the purchase is incredible.

No worries. Use Costco to buy your next car or refi your mortgage and you save enough to cover all the egg groceries you need

If you had Rons money, Costco couldn't even knock a dent in your wallet
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
Status- Standing by.
The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out. -
Costco allows us a much higher standard of living I think. Last I read they make about 10% of their money on sales. They're really a subscription business.“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

While I do agree with this, we also started to go out to restaurants less, because the BGE food is so much better.YukonRon said:Costco is not the problem. THE BGE IS THE PROBLEM. So I'd call it a wash

It was so hard not to buy the entire setup- prime steaks, short ribs, lobster, king and snow crab and two different sizes of jumbo shrimp.
Felt like a little kid gleaming through the window at a kick ass toy store. -
Yeah, we noticed that too.ToTheMax said:

But, on the other side, is the deep freezer purchase, then the second deep freezer, because the first one you talked yourself into, was not big enough. Then it is the new patio furniture, new patio or deck build or refurbish, lighting, audio, then the landscaping that follows. Redoing your kitchen to support everything you use on the egg. Building an outdoor kitchen. New carving knives, Aluminum pans, aluminum foil, butcher paper, Did I mention lump charcoal and smoking wood? Meat slicer, knife sharpener,This list never ends. I have not even mentioned the accesories for the BGE.
That is a whole lot of meals at Red Lobster my friend.
So far, I am in for about $98K.
None of this was even considered when I had my Weber."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
