FIGHT BACK against the Tyranny of Winter!


Even when faced with this :


We began The Resistance with drumettes "marinated" in one of our favorite Hot Sauces.
(Actually, it was more of a 'rinse' than true marination - only about 45 minutes
 - seasoned afterward.)


On the Egg . . .
A handful of Drumettes and a single Hot Link (of Moo & Oink fame) @ 400°, dome.


And . . . THE Wife likes these Chicken Sausages
(They're actually pretty tasty.  Who knew? )


It pays to RESIST!

    Great looking grub there.  How do you folks get your wings to look so crisp?  I never seem to plan enough in advance.  Do they have to dry in the fridge beforehand or can they be thrown on straight from the store and still get a crisp skin?

    Get them high in the dome.....think fire bricks......and cook them 375-400 direct.  They'll come out crispy every time.

    Some people (this forum) have mentioned using cornstarch/rub 1:3, but we generally don't bother.
    A few hours in the fridge - to dry the skin as you said - works for us.  The length of time varies; other prep being done, beer runs, rain delays, etc.

    Giphy.com is only one of many sites offering the ability to create GIFS/slideshows.  Pretty easy - easy enough to put together during BBall timeouts.  And free.
